Statistics NZ had identified that its 200+ products/services were only meeting 11% of customers’ critical needs, and 14% of all customer needs. Cameron led a project to develop a future portfolio with product/service briefs that better aligned with customer needs, and then validated/refined it with staff and customer feedback. The result was executive team approval of a streamlined future portfolio of 20 products/services that will meet 89% of customers’ critical needs.
