The Ministry of Education wanted to improve the management and operations support that it provided to the UNESCO NZ National Commission. Cameron drew upon strategic documents, interviewed 14 stakeholders, and conducted good practice research on 12 similar organisations in New Zealand and overseas. The work clarified 7 core support functions expected for UNESCO NZ, and identified 13 opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency within current resources.
