Cape York Health Service

The Cape York Health Service was under considerable budgetary pressure as a result of the devolution of many services previously provided by State health authority, and a $1.7m operational budget cut. Cameron led a review of existing operational expenditure and revenue sources to identify opportunities to improve value for money in existing operational budgets.

The results of this assignment were a range of proposals to save $16m over 5 years that were subsequently adopted and implemented.
